New Artist: Klara Golitsyna, Russia
Golitsynas first paintings showed the inspiration from the Russian avantgarde of the 1920s. This inspiration proved negative to her career until the end of the 1980s, where she gained full recognition in the Russian art world. She is by now considered the Alma Mater of contemporary avantgarde in Russia.
